Force release claimed task runs back to the queue

agh task release <run-id> [run-id...] [flags]

Examples

  # Release a claim without completing the run
  agh task release run-123

  # Release multiple claims with shared audit evidence
  agh task release run-123 run-456 --reason handoff

Options

  -h, --help              help for release
      --metadata string   Optional release metadata JSON
      --reason string     Optional release reason

Options inherited from parent commands

      --json            Emit JSON output
  -o, --output string   Output format: human, json, jsonl, or toon (default "human")

Output Formats

Every AGH command supports -o, --output:

  • human for interactive terminal use
  • json for scripts and other machine-readable consumers
  • jsonl for wait or streaming commands that emit one JSON record per line
  • toon for compact agent-readable summaries

Example:
